These terms cover your use of Pidgin at dailypidgin.com, run by an individual in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. By playing, you agree to them. They're short, so please read them.

A free game, as is

Pidgin is free. It is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't promise it will always be up, bug-free, or that your progress will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using it.

Be decent

Play fair and treat the site and other people with respect. In particular, don't:

• attack, overload, probe or try to break the site or the services behind it;
• scrape, crawl or bulk-download puzzles or answers, or use bots to play;
• sign in with someone else's account or misuse another person's information;
• use Pidgin for anything illegal.

We may block access or remove accounts that break these rules.

Your account

Signing in with Google is optional. You're responsible for your Google account. You can ask us to delete your Pidgin account at any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our content

The puzzles, invented languages, explanations, artwork (including Pip the pigeon) and the site itself are © Pidgin. You're welcome to share your results and talk about the puzzles. Please don't copy or republish puzzles in bulk without permission.

Changes

We may change, pause or end Pidgin, or any part of it, at any time. We may also update these terms; the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to play means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
